What are Confirmation Emails?
A Confirmation Emails, in the context of Vuture’s email module, is an email which can be sent automatically to a contact, reminding them of the choices they have just made on a RSVP Form.
Why would I want to create a Confirmation Email for my event?
To remind the contact what they have chosen, present them with a personalised Agenda or give them the opportunity to change their mind. For example, if a client chooses a selection of seminar dates from a RSVP Form and clicks Submit, the next page they would see is a “Thank you for Registering” landing page. Without a confirmation email, it would be easy for them to forget to make a note of the choices they have made.
How do I personalise confirmation emails based on what was selected on a RSVP Form?
There are two completely different methods for populating Confirmation Emails with the data, both are “correct” and you can use either, depending on your own set up.
Method 1 – Using Additional Field ID numbers
Requires IAADMIN access to the web client Admin area, or the cooperation of your IAADMIN user.
There is a detailed How To document for this method here. Send confirmation emails using IA Additional field IDs
Method 2 – Using Dynamic Content
Requires Dynamic Content to be switched on.

How do I send the Confirmation Email?
Once created, for both methods, you can then either choose to filter your list (all clients who have RSVP’d Yes for example) and send out the Confirmation Emails manually, or, for both methods, you can choose to use a Trigger to send the emails for you. (Triggers are an extra piece of functionality which is chargeable. Speak to your Customer Success Manager for further information.)
