These instructions are meant for those who are using Vuture with CSV files or the Contacts Module, as well as, InterAction.
Prerequisites:
Triggers is a requirement. If you do not have Triggers, please speak to your Customer Success Manager.
Also, please ensure that you have ExchangeSitesRedirect selected at Admin.System.Version.EmailHandler. The alternative, ExchangeSitesApi, will not allow this Link Clicked trigger to work correctly. Your CSM or Support can check this for you.

IMPORTANT: Select 'Send Email to Matches' if you only want to send an email to a segment of contacts. Otherwise, the email will be sent to everyone regardless of whether they clicked on the link in the original email. See step 8 for more information.
Step by Step Instructions
Please follow the below instructions to send an email once someone clicks on a link in an email.
1. Create the first email you plan on sending with a link to the URL you wish to monitor. Upon clicking this specified link, a second email will be sent to the contact who clicked on it. Please note: This will be referred to as your original email moving forward.

2. In the same email campaign, create the second email you wish to send to someone who clicked on the specified link in your original email.
Make sure both emails are 'Published' otherwise click on 'Publish' > 'Publish Now' to publish.

3. Navigate to the Triggers screen and click on '+ New Trigger'.

4. Give your Trigger a clear name for what this Trigger will do for you. For example, if it is going to send a second email once someone clicks on the specified URL in the original email, name it 'If Link Clicked in [Name of Original Email], send this email'.

Important: Do not enable the trigger just yet. Wait until this trigger is setup and enable it from the 'Trigger List' screen.
5. Select the 'Link Clicked' Trigger from the 'Trigger' drop-down.

6. Select the original email that you plan to send from the 'Email' drop-down. Then select the Link you wish to trigger to send the second email once this link is clicked.

7. Select the Date and Time you wish to send the second email once someone has clicked the specified link. This could be after but before a certain date/time. Or, you can simply set today's date/time to 'After' to start this upon enabling the trigger and leave 'Before' blank.

8. From the 'Action' drop-down choose 'Send Email to Matches'. This will only send the second email to those who clicked on the specified link.
IMPORTANT: If you were to choose 'Send Email' as the 'Action' this will send an email to everyone, regardless of whether they clicked on the link in the original email they received. For this reason, you want to be sure you select 'Send Email to Matches' for this specific use case.

9. Select a 'Wait' option to send the second email from the 'Wait' drop-down. Otherwise, leave this set to 'None'.
- The 'Wait for' option allows you to set a number of days and hours or number of minutes before sending the second email, upon clicking on the specified link in the original email.
- The 'At' option allows you to set a specific date/time to send this second email, upon clicking on the specified link in the original email.

10. Now, choose the second email you wish to send once someone clicks on the specified link in the original email. Then choose your FROM Address for this send.

11. (Optional) If you'd like to specify an email address for replies, please enter this email address in the 'Reply To' field.

12. Type in your Subject Line for this specific send.

13. Click on the blue 'Save' button at the bottom left corner to save your 'Link Clicked' Trigger.

14. Double check that everything is correct (i.e. Date, Time, Email to send, Subject Line, etc.). Then when you're ready, from the Trigger List screen, check the box for 'Enabled' to enable your trigger. The trigger will then send the second email on a specific date/time or X # of minutes / days after the specified link was clicked on by the contact in the original email (depending on how you setup the wait option).

15. Send your first (original) email.
