Vuture is able to handle very large sends. However we want to protect your sender reputation and domain, so deliverability is our primary concern. The information below addresses email deliverability rather than on the number of emails Vuture can send.
Here is Vuture best practice information on large email sends
For large email sends, we recommend that you stagger the mail or it may cause deliverability issues against your IP and domain.
To avoid any issues with email deliverability, you should review your current send volumes and remain in line with this volume. Using your general system statistics dashboard you can see your sending volumes month to month. Work out how many emails you send on average per month, then per week, and per day. You should aim to send around this number per day to avoid email deliverability issues.
Please also be sure to use the email engagement tool against your list before you send.
Please remove:
- Unengaged contacts
- Those with no email
- All hard bounces.
- Do not send to contacts that have opted out (from any mailing).
Should you wish to speed up the mailing, there is an option to route this via another IP, there is a cost of doing so, and this would need to be set up in advance. Should you wish to explore this route please let your Account Manager know.
Vuture can handle mailings of over 100,000 per send and more, so the size is not the issue. It’s more the spam and email deliverability issues this can trigger.
If deliverability is the main concern for you. We suggest using send throttling to reduce the number of mailing attempts to each domain per minute. This will help minimise the chance of a red flag.
A gentle reminder for those on InterAction CRM, if you have a threshold in place for unsubscribes you may need to review this size of this folder. Please contact our support team should you need to do so, or need assistance email on support@vutu.re
Using the 'From' feature with Vuture:
We know that firms like to personalise who the mailing comes 'from'. This is how it works: Ideally all auto-replies would go to the reply-to address. However, as it is up to the recipient's server to follow the reply-to rule, there are some email clients that will not follow this logic, and the auto-replies will be sent to the From address. There is nothing Vuture can do to enforce the behaviour of the recipient's server.
Typically, to prevent the partner's inbox filling up with auto-replies, firms will use the display name of a partner, then the email address itself could be a marketing email address. This will help to ensure that auto-replies do not go back to to the partner's email address.
For example, you could use communications@companyname.com, PARTNER NAME
Using Send More Vs Resend
For adding an additional list to a large email send, utilize the send more option which will deduplicate contacts within the send. Further details here.
