At Vuture, we’re committed to ensuring your account, your data and your contacts’ data is as secure as possible. Over the past few years, we’ve released security features that deliver on this commitment. We wanted to remind you of these features, in case you’re interested in making your account and processes more secure - click the links to find out more:
-
Secure a Page: Enables you to restrict access to pages sent from Vuture to selected and specific audiences – suitable for confidential, internal-only documents such as reports. Please note: Secure page functionality is only readable to users who are logged in to Vuture.
Importing Files from URLs: Designed to reduce the risk of importing malicious content from external systems, Vuture can be configured to only allow content from permitted and approved URLs that are defined for each client, allowing them to upload pdfs or other files more securely.
-
Set Vuture Links to expire Automatically: You can set expiration dates on the links included in your emails, so that all linked pages will be unreachable after a specified timeframe, once your email has been sent. Vuture also automatically expires any links in emails older than 2 years, preventing spammers or bots from exploiting old links.
-
Secure Pre-filled Forms and Landing Pages with 2FA: You can implement 2FA in your Vuture instances pre-filled and landing pages, ensuring only intended recipients can view personal data.
-
AWS Security Improvements: Last year we migrated all our clients to AWS, which added a host of robust security enhancements, bolstering our infrastructure with stringent measures, including:
- Continuous vulnerability scanning ensures ongoing vigilance against potential threats,
- Deactivation of outdated encryption protocols
- Seamless SSL certificate renewal facilitated by AWS Certificate Manager - negating the need to store or transfer certificates and private keys. Certificates cannot be exported and can only be used by our AWS managed services.
- Automated rotation of disk and SQL encryption keys.
- The new platform was built with the latest Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, which enforces standardization and ensures that strict change control processes are followed.
