Integrating Vuture to your InterAction environment allows Vuture to read and write the following contact data including:

• Name
• Company
• Address
• Phone
• Email
• Additional Field values
• Folder membership

 

The Vuture user should be given access to the Marketing, Additional Information and Data Management Folders. Any folders that are not part of your contact or client inception, data management and marketing process can be excluded from access by revoking folder access permission within InterAction. If the Vuture user does not have permission to read from a folder, then the additional information fields in the folder are also not available to Vuture.

 

To restrict the type of data available to Vuture e.g. restrict the visibility of Phone numbers and Addresses from Vuture, it is possible to implement IIS-based filtering on the InterAction Application Server that Vuture connects to.

 

Note:

In order to implement IIS-based filtering, you will need to speak to your Account Manager / Project Manager. This is a project-based premium configuration service with technical requirements and implications, some of which are highlighted below:

• IIS Rewrite module will need to be installed on the server we connect to
• A dedicated InterAction Application server is required for Vuture, where these rules can be configured without interfering with your internal user population’s access settings
• The Alumni module is not compatible with IIS based API filtering
• If you choose to restrict a data set e.g. Phone, from Vuture, then this data and fields must be removed from all your Vuture forms and pages i.e. If Vuture cannot read this data, then we cannot write this data either for new or existing contacts
• Changes to the rewrite rules you have in place must be pre-planned and agreed with Vuture Support and Your Account manager
