Here is an overview of that move process: Why is the move required? Vuture are upgrading you to one of our newest and most powerful serverPerformance: It is important to put you on best performing servers to ensure maximum performance and avoid any performance issuesEvolution: Servers evolve; this server is the most up to date Security: Ensure you have the latest technology with the most up-to-date security Impact on the Vuture platform and your CRM whilst we make the move: Your instance will be switched to maintenance mode – this means you cannot access the platform or make any sends during this time slot No work can take place on the Vuture platform during this time There will be no effect on your CRMThere will be no downtime for your recipients and visitorsYou won’t see any change once the move has taken place Process from the Vuture side Put server in maintenance mode Deploy the latest version of the software to your current server Deploy the latest version of the software to your new server Test the system on the new server using an entry in host files to simulate the DNS changeConfigure your email queue to relay through your old server for a few days after which we will switch to your new serverTest email sendingTest bounce processingMake the DNS change to point at the new serverTake the system out of maintenance mode Information and actions required from you for the move: Time slot for the move: depending on the size and complexity we will let you know how long is required. This is normally between 1 and 4 hours. We recommend the end of the day to allow the DNS update to propagate Check that you have allowed access from the new IP address to your CRM - this should be actioned and tested in advance of the move dateVanity URL DNS update - if you use any Vanity URLs where you control the DNS, we will need to co-ordinate the DNS update with you
