It is possible to use a custom URL for one or more email campaigns.
In this case you want the custom URL to display in the browser when someone accesses any email or page in the campaign. For example, if you have a campaign with the normal URL:
https://my-normal-vuture-url.com/123/456/landing-pages/rsvp.asp
and you want this to be accessed using a custom URL:
https://my-custom-url/123/456/landing-pages/rsvp.asp
Anyone going to the normal URL will automatically be forwarded to the custom one.
This is different from a redirect as described in this article - https://support.vutu.re/hc/en-us/articles/360020567097-Custom-URL-Redirect-for-an-Email-Landing-Page - where you are forwarded to the normal URL when you access the custom URL.
Note that this is a chargeable service - contact your Account Manager for pricing.
Setting up the Custom URL
- Let Vuture know what domain you decide upon. The custom URL for your email must be a subdomain. For example
- root domain: clientdomain.com
- subdomain: subdomain.clientdomain.com
- The Vuture infrastructure team will supply you with two DNS CNAME records, much like a standard vanity URL.
- One to point the custom URL to the Vuture servers
- One to validate the SSL certificate
- Once the DNS records are created, the Vuture team will configure the email campaign with the custom URL
