Uploading images to your Vuture platform is generally affected by the issue of ownership.  It is not always legal to simply download an image from the internet and use it in your publications - because the copyright to that image may already be owned.  It is safer to purchase images from a reputable source and ensure that your users only use those.

By default, new Vuture instances are created with a standard warning message to users, which is designed to be displayed on attempting to upload an image.  The standard message is: 

"Test Disclaimer

Do you accept with the above terms of use?

Click OK' if you wish to accept or 'Cancel' if you do not wish to accept"

This message is a placeholder for you to insert your own message if you wish, or, you can choose to delete it entirely and have no warning message displayed.

If you wish, you can create your own message and place it in the root container of your system.  This will then cascade to any subcontainers created from the root.  Alternatively you could have a different message in different subcontainers - perhaps depending on the laws in effect in the country in which the subcontainers will be used.

To change the words in the placeholder disclaimer go to Admin.Containers & Users.Container Settings tab and scroll down to the Upload Disclaimer box.  If you do this when your system is brand new, after clicking on the root, or system, container you can change the words and they will cascade to subsequent containers.  If you do this later, after all your containers have already been created, you will have to change the words in the Upload Disclaimer box one container at a time.
