What is an Allowed List?
Getting put on Allowed Lists is the act of adding your email and/or sending IP to a list where any emails coming from those email addresses or IPs are automatically allowed through the spam filter. This means that in the future, when you send to that domain your emails will be allowed through and not blocked or deleted.
How do I get put on an Allowed List internally?
The exact process for this will differ depending on the spam filters being used. Broadly speaking the process is similar in that you will need to provide specific information to an IT team to add to the Allowed List.
You will need the following information which you can get from the Vuture Support team at support@vutu.re
- Your Vuture sending IP - 193.5.144.0/28 for all clients (except those who subscribe to a dedicated IP) this represents the following IP addresses:
- 193.5.144.64
- 193.5.144.65
- 193.5.144.66
- 193.5.144.67

- 193.5.144.69
- 193.5.144.70

Otherwise you can send the following example content to your IT team, IT support or email administrator. Please feel free to edit as applicable.
To: IT Dept.
"We send emails internally through a third-party email provider called Vuture. For us to ensure that our emails are delivered to our staff internally we need to make sure that our sending address and IP are allowed within our filters. This Allow List should be applied to any internal or third party filters. Below are the details:
- Sending address: [Insert sending address]
- Sending IP: [Insert sending IP]"
How do I get put on an Allowed List externally?
Sometimes emails sent from Vuture can get caught up in your client’s spam filters. Before you reach out to the client and request to be added to their Allowed List, we suggest that you follow these best practices first and have taken these steps. If these steps do not work, below is some wording you can use.
You will need the following information which you can get from the Vuture Support team at support@vutu.re
- Your Vuture sending IP
- Your bounceback domain or Custom Return Path
You will need to ask your contact to forward the content below to their IT team, IT support or email administrator. Please feel free to edit as applicable.
To: IT Help Desk (at your client organisation) - for the attention of your Email Administrator
"Your company is a client of our firm and we regularly send event invitations and important information to your staff. These emails comply with all the regulatory laws that govern email. We only ever send emails to contacts that want to receive our content.
Unfortunately, one of your employees has made us aware that they are not receiving our emails. We have worked with our third party email provider to deliver these emails and our last option is to request that our sending domain and IP be allowed with your filter system. This should be done to any internal or third party spam filter systems. Below is the information you need.
- Sending address: [Insert sending address]
- Sending IP: [Insert sending IP]"
