For Vuture to register and record an 'Open' when a recipient previews an email in Outlook or another email client that has a preview feature, depends on the email client's behavior.

An Open is recorded when the email client downloads the tracking pixel in the email.  So, if the email client fetches this tracking pixel image when the recipient previews the email, this would record an Open. However, as this is entirely dependent on the email client's email preview functionality, Vuture is unable to manipulate this.
