In the Salesforce integration with Vuture via the Connector Tool, additional information fields are associated with Objects or Entities. The Objects in the CRM which are integrated are:
- Contacts
- Leads
- Campaigns and Campaign Members
- VxForm Submissions and
- VxActivities.
Contacts and Leads
The following Fields which are associated with Contacts and Leads will write back to the CRM:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Salutation
- Job Title
- City
- Country
-
Email address
New Entity in the Vuture Metadata Manager - ContactandLead
Many additional fields overlap between Contacts and Leads and appear in both places in the CRM. To make it easier for clients to integrate existing fields with Vuture, we have a Vuture entity called ContactandLead. This allows all the fields which appear in both places in the CRM to be mapped only once for the integration.
Important: If clients wish to create a new contact field in both places they should ensure that the field name is the same in both places in the CRM.
Campaign Object
The Campaign parent object is associated with campaign members
The Campaign object will contain Lists of campaigns.
Adding Campaign Member Fields
The Campaign Member object will be linked to the campaign list you send out. Additional fields will be used on event registration forms. Example fields would be RSVPs, dietary requirements or maybe workshop groups. As a minimum you will need an RSVP field created, with Accept and Decline values.
2. Adding an additional Custom Field to Objects, Fields and Lists for use on Vuture Forms
VxForm Submissions
These are also linked to Campaigns lists for Contacts or Leads. For example, if a client prefers not to have a certain field in the Campaign Member entity they can create the field in the CRM and then Vuture will map that field in the Metadata tool. Once mapped it can be used in a Vuture form.
