Which triggers are used for the Email Digest Centre?

Digest Emails use a ‘Recurring’ Trigger in order to fire and send the email at the set frequency (day/week). The email is populated with different content each day.  Sometimes there is none, so doesn’t send.

Also the ‘Recurring’ trigger is required for use, otherwise the content does not populate the Digest Snippet.
