This may include test sends. There are several reasons why emails may take a long time to be delivered:
- If you are sending to a larger list there can be minor delays in the sending process as we compile the emails and check against your suppression lists. This is normal. If you want to read more about how we manage sends please click here.
- If you are sending a lot of emails to a single domain, some servers purposely throttle the delivery through their servers. This means they only allow a few emails through at a time.
- If you have enabled throttling in your account this could delay our sending speed.
- Your recipient's servers could have a third party filter or firewall in place. These filters can cause delays to delivery as they have to undergo all sorts of checks before they allow the emails through.
- Your recipient's server may have strict security and encryption protocols which can cause delays in delivery.
- Vuture maybe going through maintenance and we may have purposely slowed or stopped sending whilst we go through our maintenance window. You can see when we have scheduled maintenance by visiting https://status.vutu.re/
