If you are experiencing issues with bounce back processing when using interAction use the following steps to help diagnose the issue.
1. Ensure Vuture queues enabled & running
Ensure that the following Vuture systems tasks are enabled (your Account Manager or the support team should be able to help with this)
- Vx Queue - this can be enabled from Admin.System.VxQueue.Queue Enabled
- VxQueueTask - this can be found in Admin.Services, check the task is enabled and is (typically) set to run every few minutes
- BounceProcessingTask - located in Admin.Services, check the task is enabled and is (typically) set to run every few minutes
- InterAction{x}Task - located in Admin.Services, check the task is enabled, where {x} is the instance number for the configured InterAction node from the available six nodes.
2. InterAction bounce folders configuration
The InterAction user that Vuture uses to log into InterAction must have access to the folder or marketing list that is used to maintain bounce backs. Access can be checked by opening a browser and navigating to:
https://{your interaction url}/Interaction/findfoldersForContact?accountName={Vuture IA User}&userPassword={Vuture IA User Password}&contactID={Contact ID}
where
{your interaction url} = your interaction url
{Vuture IA User} = the IA user name Vuture is configured to use e.g. VutureVx
{Vuture IA User Password} = the above users password to log into InterAction
{Contact ID} = the contact ID as seen in IA Web client
If the call above is successful and / or a pop-up is displayed asking for MS Windows or IIS login details then the folder is present.
3. Daily Suppression Lists
If your organisation uses the daily suppression list download functionality, check that this is enabled under Admin.System.Interaction.Download Unsubscribe Data
