Access to the back-end of the Vuture platform can be restricted, based on IP address. This means you can restrict access to your instance to a specific office, network or geographic region. IP whitelisting allows you to create lists of trusted IP addresses or IP ranges from which your users can access your instance. IP whitelisting is a security feature, often used for limiting and controlling access; allowing access only to trusted users.
Restriction: Please note that this does not work for secure sites. If you want to use IP filters with secure sites, you must talk to your Client Success Manager. They will reference this Vuture Only link.
To Enable
To enable this feature for your main Vuture instance, please contact Vuture Support or your Client Success Manager with a list of IP addresses from which access is permitted.
Result
Anyone accessing the back-end from an IP address that has not been allowed will get a "403 Forbidden: Access Denied" message. It is not currently possible to style this page.
