By default, if a contact doesn't Click to Download Images in an email but does click on a link, only the Click activity will be written back to Salesforce, not the Open.

However, since the Link Clicked implies there has been an Open, there is an option to record the implicit Open.  Ask your Client Success Manager, or Support,  to enable Admin > System > Salesforce > Combine open and click.

This will record the first link clicked.  It will write back to Salesforce with an activity type of "Email Opened" and list the links clicked in the description.

Please note this is a system-wide change for all emails across the Vuture platform.
