Your Vuture instance is your own dedicated web application that runs in the cloud and is hosted in one of our Rackspace (for UK, US, Hong Kong, Australia) or Azure (for Canada) data centres.

The application is not multi-tenanted and each client gets their own separate application, database and file store with dedicated credentials and encryption.

The connection between Vuture and Salesforce is a secure HTTPS link to your Salesforce Connected App with requests always initiated from Vuture.

The connection is configured using Salesforce's Connected App feature, which is a secure login service (designed by Salesforce themselves) for sending API calls from an external system. This system is configurable through controls in OnePlace's administration screens.  

 

The connection utilizes the following: 

OnePlace User and Password (administrator account)

Consumer Key and Consumer Secret (for the connection to be verified)

Request Token and Token Secret. (for the user to be verified)

 

Vuture connects the callback URL over a SSL connection between Vuture and Salesforce and uses the following 0Auth permission:
