In Vuture you can set an approved or authorised domain. This allows you to control the domains used to send out emails. It means that your users will be unable to type whatever From email addresses they want.

You can set up multiple approved domains.

It means that your users don't accidentally misspell your domain

If you use a Custom Return Path it ensures that your users send from the Custom Return Path and not from any other domain.

Setting up an approved domain

Only Vuture Administrators can set this up. Please speak to your Account Manager and they can go to Admin>System>Emails>Authorised From Domains.

• Add your approved domains in the text box under Authorised From Domains. 

Make sure you separate multiple domains with a semi colon rather than a colon. 

• Tick Hide Unauthorised From Domains - When a user goes to Send, any sending addresses that contain an unapproved domain will be hidden from the drop down.

You'll then need to either update or set up the sending addresses you would like to use.

• Go to Admin>Containers and users
• Click on the root container
• Click on Container Settings
• Scroll down to Send From Emails and add the sending email addresses and display names. 

If you want these to be available in all containers click copy to sub-containers

If you want to replace any existing domains click replace in sub-containers. If you select this option any domains you have added to other containers will be removed and replaced with these.

We suggest that you check each individual container and simply replace the domain of each existing sending address with your approved domains.
