Added August 2019: When a Vuture form is submitted and the Account/Company record matches with two or more records in the CRM (duplicates), then, instead of creating a further duplicate record, Vuture can now select the latest record to match with, based on its Date Created. That is, it will merge with the newest record.
To enable this feature, AMs should check Admin.System.Salesforce.Use first matching company. This setting is set to False as a default.
Added March 2019: We have updated the way in which we submit data to Salesforce through Vuture forms. Important! Once you upgrade to Version 2, you will notice the following changes:
Please note, in order to upgrade, your account manager must set Admin.System.Version.CrmFormFillModuleVersion to "2" , Admin.System.Salesforce.Form Submission Version to "2" as well as have the form editor version 2 enabled.
Adding Salesforce fields to Vuture forms
You can add any Salesforce Contact or Campaign member field into Vuture forms. By doing this, when a contact submits a form, the value will be recorded against the correct field. Please note, Campaign member fields will write back to the campaign linked to the form.
Once you have created a field in Salesforce that you would like to include into a Vuture form, please provide your account manager with the following details:
- Field Name as it should be seen in the Vuture Form (E.g. Workshop Sessions)
- Field API Name as it appears in Salesforce (E.g. WorkshopSessions__c)
- Field Category: Contact field or Campaign member
Depending on the field category, your account manager will add the name and API in:
- Admin.System.Salesforce.Campaign member form fields
- Admin.System.Salesforce.Contact form fields
They will then "Save" and "Verify Fields"
Once added, you will be able to select your CRM fields in the Vuture Form Editor.
