There are two ways in which the Event app registers walk-ins. Upon “registering” the walk-in, Vuture will either:
1. Find a match and populate the event list
2. Not find a match and create a new record
If Vuture finds a match, the contact DOES NOT go into the DCM inbox. However, if Vuture does not find a match and creates a new contact record, then the contact would sit in the DCM waiting to be reviewed and approved.
The contact sits in DCM because the “Vuture user" creates it.
If you create a “rule set” only for the “Vuture user" and enable it on the day of the event, you can bypass the walk-in being stuck in DCM.
Create a new rule set called “Vuture Contacts Rule Collection – Event Day” that will only be activated the day of the event. This allows for DCM tickets to notify you that a new contact was created while not making the walk-in “stuck.”
Rule sets can be viewed in the IAADMIN client.
