Vuture is switching its email sending to use PowerMTA. PowerMTA is an enterprise-grade email message transfer agent (MTA) for sending high-volume, business critical emails. PowerMTA is known for reliability and delivery speed.

Q. Is Vuture sending the mail now on their own infrastructure?

A. Nothing has changed with our sending process. We are still sending mail via Rackspace as before.

Q. Is Power MTA only a gateway?

A. Power MTA is just a mail relay. Power MTA simply replaces Zone MTA and it works in exactly the same way as before, simply faster.

Q. Will Power MTA store any of our personal data, including our internal and external contact details?

A. No. All data is on our servers as before, we are just using a different program to do the sending. There are no logs going to Power MTA.

Q. How is data exchanged between Vuture and Power MTA?

A. No data is exchanged. Power MTA is just another Vuture server.
