Introduction
We wanted to make it possible for users to email personalised CCs and BCCs to their contacts on Send. This functionality exists for other, previously- integrated CRMs and it is now available for all CRMs integrated with Vuture via the Connector Tool. That includes Salesforce (on the Connector Tool), Intapp, Upper Sigma, Fibre and Dealcloud.
Besides manually entering one or more emails to receive a CC or BCC copy of the email, you can enter one or more Salesforce fields which will be looked up on Send. Any email addresses in that field for each contact will be added to any manually-entered CC or BCC.
Warning: Since this is a real CC/BCC, copies will be exactly the same as the original and will include all tracking codes linked to the original recipient. This means that if the copies are opened they will register an Open against the original recipient. Clicking on a link to a landing page or a form will record a Link Clicked and pre-populate the landing page or form with the original recipient's details.
Requirements
Two new Custom fields should be added to the CRM, unless you want to use existing fields. For Salesforce only, they should be at the contact and lead level and in both the contact and lead entities. For the other Connector CRMs we do not use Leads. They should be text fields, capable of holding email addresses. If more than one email address is required they will be comma separated.

In the above example, the new fields are called Vuture Email CC and Vuture Email BCC in Salesforce.
The new fields will be mapped in Vuture by your CSM, using the Metadata Manager.
First, create a new Category and then add the fields at the contact level:

This functionality is controlled through a role-based feature. Your Customer Success Manager can enable the feature for selected roles using the setting "Admin.Roles.Emails.Manage CC and option based on additional fields"
Once this is mapped in the Metadata Tool and enabled in Roles you will see two extra fields on the send screen for CC Fields and BCC Fields when you select a Salesforce list. You will see a dropdown which lists the fields entered by your CSM (see above). You can add one or multiple fields to be in CC or BCC.
