As part of our ongoing work to update our user interface and bring it into line with the look and feel which has already been released in other parts of the system, we are now releasing the Email Send Screen v2 for Salesforce. It includes improved UI and UX, and the ability to send to multiple lists.
Prerequisites:
Salesforce CRM integrated with Vuture's email module.
To enable Email Send Screen v2 in your instance you need to ask your Account Manager to go to Admin -> System-> Versions -> EmailSendScreenVersion and select version 2.
You will also need Admin.Roles.Emails.Send v2 enabled for your Role.
There are currently two tabs on the Send Email screen - Email Setup and Email List.
Email Setup Tab

The functionality of this tab largely mirrors the setup available to you on the v1 of Email Send Screen.
It includes From, Personalised From, Subject Line, Reply To, CC and BCC if enabled, CC Additional Fields if enabled, (and the Images, Format and IP Address line which is typically for Vuture Only.)
You can select your data source (external system or CSV) from here, choose your list (you may select more than one list to send to, and Vuture will automatically dedupe across all the lists you choose) and build a filter. There is also a link to the Check List tool. If the Check List tool is enabled for your firm, you could see from here which contacts on the selected mailing list would be suppressed, if you had automatic suppression enabled.
What's New in v2?
Apart from the new style clean and clear layout, you may send to multiple lists, and there is a link to the Check List. The Check List link allows you to access a version of the Engagement Allow List Tool, displaying the contacts in the Mailing List(s) selected.
All other features on this tab behave in the same way as on Email Send Screen v1.
Email List Tab

The Email List tab allows you to choose your list(s) - you may select more than one list, filter the list, select the Email Type and search the list for specific contacts.
Search works across the columns:
Email, FirstName and LastName. Custom fields will not be displayed in the Search results. You can use Custom fields in filters if required.
The Search feature is only intended to allow users to verify whether an individual is (or is not) present in the mailing list. To find "all contacts at xyz domain" for example, it would not be ideal to use the Search. You should use a filter instead.
Order By works across the core field columns only, No Custom Fields
Order By will not persist across saving/loading campaigns
FAQs
Q. In the new send screen, if a user chooses to Pause and then Resume a send, what is the expected behavior?
A. The user will be returned to the send screen. That is because a Pause and Resume mirrors the behavior of a Send More. It allows the user to continue the send without resending to any email address that has already received the mailing.
