When sending an email you can choose to personalise the From Name and Address that is displayed in the recipient's email client.

 

By default all emails are sent using the From Address you select from the dropdown on the send email screen.

 

Next to the From Address is a drop-down field called "Personalised From".  In order to see the Personalised From dropdown your Vuture Administrator must enable "Admin.Roles.Emails.Personalise on From Name" for your role.

Personalised FROM when sending to a OnePlace Function

 

The Personalised From options are:

1. None
   This option does not personalise the From Address - each email is sent using the From Address selected in the From field.
2. Name and email
   This option personalises the From Address for each contact using the Email Address and Name of the "Who added" user in a OnePlace function.
3. Name only
   This option personalises the From Address for each contact using the Email Address selected in the From Address dropdown but uses the Name of the "Who added" user in a OnePlace function. The advantage of this option is that you can avoid Out of Office messages going back to a partner or fee-earner, but their name will be displayed in the From Address that the recipient sees.

Personalised FROM when sending to a OnePlace Publication

 

OnePlace Publications do not have a set "sponsor" field.  However, you can add a custom field and treat it as a sponsor.  Please note, we recommend the field be a "Lookup" type field for the Contact entity.  This way Vuture can import Name, Email and, if required, Job Title (see the placeholders article).

If you are interested in this feature, contact your Account Manager and provide the following details:

• OnePlace ID for Sponsor "Name" field on the Contact Entity
• OnePlaceID for Sponsor "Email" field on the Contact Entity
• OnePlaceID for Sponsor "Job Title" field on the Contact Entity

 

These details will also be used for the sponsor placeholders (that is: {From Name} ; {From Job Title} ; {From Email}) when sending to the Publication.

 

Your Account Manager will enable the feature and enter the field IDs in "Admin.System.Salesforce.Publication Sponsor [Name, Field, Job Title] Field Id"

 

 

 

The Personalised From options for Publications will become:

1. None
