We have updated the way in which we submit data to OnePlace through Vuture forms. Important! Once you upgrade to Version 2, you will notice the following changes:
- Any OnePlace fields can be added into the Vuture Forms (please see below for details)
- Updates in appearance of the form editor: Fields will be categorised as either Contact, Function/Publication or Vx Form submission objects and core fields will automatically show up
- The contact mailing address will not be modified based on the Company field submitted in a form. When a form is submitted the Company field might change based on previously existing rules, but the mailing address won't be matched to the HQ address of the company (unless determined through a OnePlace rule external to Vuture)
- The "City" and "Country" field in a form will write back to the mailing address not the "Other address" as it previously did. If you would like to use the mailing address for these fields in existing forms, they will need updating
- The {City} and {Country} placeholders will source information from the mailing address not the "Other address" as it previously did
- You will notice "Address" fields in the form editor as contact fields. These are linked to the mailing address
Please note, in order to upgrade, your account manager must set Admin.System.Version.CrmFormFillModuleVersion to "2", Admin.System.Salesforce.Form Submission Version to "2 as well as have the form editor version 2 enabled
Adding OnePlace fields into Vuture forms
You can add any OnePlace Contact or Invitee/Subscriber field into Vuture forms. By doing this, when a contact submits a form, the value will be recorded against the correct field. Please note, Invitee (and Subscriber) fields will write back to the function or publication linked to the form.
Once you have created a field in Oneplace that you would like to include into a Vuture form, please provide your account manager with the following details:
- Field Name as it should be seen in the Vuture Form (E.g. Workshop Sessions)
- Field API Name as it appears in OnePlace (E.g. OnePlace_WorkshopSessions__c)
- Field Category: Contact field, Invitee field or Subscriber field
Depending on the field category, your account manager will add the name and API in:
- Admin.System.Salesforce.Function Invitee form fields
- Admin.System.Salesforce.Publication Subscriber form fields
- Admin.System.Salesforce.Contact form fields
They will then "Save" and "Verify Fields"
Once added, you will be able to select your CRM fields in the Vuture Form Editor.

RSVP Fields and Vuture Forms
You can add the RSVP field for the Invitee object following the process described above. In the events app, you can select which field to filter your guestlist on.
